I met up with Liz & Jamie at The Kings Manor in York for the pre wedding shoot. This is where they will be getting married on the 5th June this year. In true tradition it started raining the minute I stepped out of the car!! Following a quick look round the venue we headed for the museum gardens for some shots then back to the City Art Gallery before heading to the Slug & Lettuce for a Latte! It was another sunny day for a pre-wedding shoot. I met up with Vicky & Gary at The Churchill Hotel in York for the final consultation. We then headed over to the Museum Gardens for the pre wedding shoot. Vicky & Gary are getting married on Saturday 8th May at Haxby Church then onto Churcills for the reception. Last year I was asked by Jo Milner of Mila Brides if I would like to offer my services for a win a wedding competition, which I accepted. Well it finally arrived the sun was shining and we were set for a great day. The wedding took place at Burn Hall in Huby just outside of York with Paula getting her hair and makeup done at Kuki Spa and getting ready at her mums in Acomb. Following some prep shots and a bacon sandwich!! it was off to meet Jamie at Burn Hall. We all had a good laugh and everyone was enjoying the great weather allowing some great shots to be captured. Woke up and the sun was shining and it was hot!!. Just the order of the day for shooting a wedding. The wedding of Leanne & Richard took place at St Stephens Church in Acomb, which has a narrow path running up to it and is great for confetti shots! Following the service the reception was at The Royal York Hotel. Both Leanne and Richard were great fun to work with and below are just some of the shots from the day.
