Heather & Neil | The Merchant Adventurers Hall | York | 29th November 2009

At the end of November I had the pleasure of photographing Heather & Neil's wedding at the fantastic Merchant Adventurers Hall in York. With the wedding service starting at 4pm we all knew it was going to be dark but we also hoped the rain would hold off. Well guess what it didn't!. When Heather arrived the rain was hitting hard but it did not dampen her spirits and her great smile was ever present. Nearly everything went to plan and some great shots were captured. The one thing that was made difficult was the plan for eveyone to release sky lanterns. Part of the wedding party braved the rain to have a go anyway, which was great fun even if a little wet!. Congratulations Heather & Neil and all the best for the future.

Jo & Mike | Pre Wedding Shoot | 9th November 2009

It was a weekend of pre wedding shoots!. On Sunday I met up with Jo & Mike at the Dean Court Hotel for coffee and to go over the plans for the big day. It was then over to the Minster Gardens for some pre wedding photographs. Jo & Mike and one of the very few couples getting married at York Minster. The date it's all happening is Monday 21st December. Following the ceremony it will be over to the fabulous Hospitium in the Museum Gardens. Can't wait :o)

Heather & Neil | Pre Wedding Shoot | 7th November 2009

It was a cold but sunny Saturday morning when I met Heather & Neil for their pre wedding shoot. Having had a nice cup of Latte at the Circle Cafe it was off for a walk to the Museum Gardens via the river whilst shooting some fun photos. Heather & Neil get married on November 29th at The Merchant Adventurers Hall (www.theyorkcompany.co.uk). Watch this space for photos from the big day.

Michelle & Paul | All Saints Church & The Pavillion Hotel | York | 19th September 2009

Back in September I photographed Michelle & Paul's wedding at All Saints Church in Huntington. As can be seen from the photos the sun was shining yet again (Brilliant!) and everyone was in good spirits. A good friend Tony of Blue Sky Wedding Travel was on hand to take the happy couple for a trip in the open top Beauford before heading back to the Pavillion Hotel for the reception. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Thompson!

Rob & Inju | The Pavillion Hotel | York | 12th September 2009

Finally I get round to putting another blog on!. Back in September I had the pleasure of photographing Rob & Inju's wedding at the Pavillion Hotel in York. The sun was again shining and both Rob & Inju were really down to earth and friendly making my job even more pleasurable. Rob originally from York and Inju from Korea now live and work in Germany. This meant guests came from far and wide to celebrate the big day. Many great shots were captured some of which are shown below. Congratulations Rob & Inju.
